Project Manager, Strategy & Business Development

Position Overview:
This role provides overall project management of key strategic initiatives and M&A integrations at the division level.
This is someone who can act as planner, facilitator, communicator, consultant, and bridge builder throughout different phases of the project.
The Project Manager is not only responsible for the creation and delivery of a disciplined strategy, process and implementation plan, but also accountable for planning, mobilizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of key objectives.
This team is responsible for assessing, shaping, setting and prioritizing the strategic direction of Advanced Systems Group to efficiently and effectively build and scale the division's value creating propositions and operation across categories, brands or regions.
Work focus will ebb and flow and it is envisioned the amount of time will be split evenly between strategy realization and M&A initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Provide program management of division's key strategic or transformational initiatives.
Projects could be in any functional areas (technology, digital marketing, operations etc.
) Coordinating with all relevant stakeholders to define project scope and objectives and supporting change management thoughout the organization.
Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability, allocation and delivery on time within budget and scope Serve as a liaison between the project team and executive sponsor to communicate project plans and escalate critical issues as needed Define and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques Support end-to-end M&A process including leading key integration workstreams to ensure a smooth business transition and to achieve acquisition objectives Provide post-acquisition synergy tracking and analysis Create and maintain project documentation; prepare presentations and report to senior management Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Master's degree preferred) Minimum of 7 years work experience.
Background in marine/RV/industrial a plus Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies and tools.
PMP or PRINCE2 Certification preferred Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams of various sizes, and see them through to completion Experience in managing business integration in the context of M&A Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentation skills necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams or projects at the same time.
Advanced proficiency with all Microsoft Office Tools This position will be a hybrid role with a combination of remote work and onsite office base in the Chicago, IL area with travel as needed to other locations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
