Job Summary DRS is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Government Compliance Analyst to join our team in the Milwaukee, WI area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within DRS. Job Responsibilities Demonstrates knowledge of CPSR requirements specifically related to FAR/DAR regulation Reviews Supply Chain's purchase order documents to ensure all activities are in compliance with company policy and CPRS requirements. Lead in the identification of trends in non-compliance, define remediation strategies and implement. Managing inputs to the compliance Tracker. Work closely with purchasing staff Develop status reporting dashboard and maintain at agreed upon intervals. Meet with the buyer take action to correct, if possible, and coach any of the buyers on the deficiencies found during the reviewing process. Accumulate metrics by buyer and for the total group. Metrics will be trended and monitored against individual buyer performance and department goals. Trend data will be used as the basis for ongoing training efforts. Documented corrective actions to buyer. Provide informational meetings to various groups upon request. Conduct training for various compliance related activities. Supports Supply Chain Purchasing Manager and Director's efforts to standardize enterprise procurement practices, templates and policies & terms and conditions. Develop communications and training to increase awareness regarding CPSR regulations. Report out to leadership with regard to the findings. Participate on various cross collaboration project teams addressing a variety of business needs including process enhancement, system initiatives and reporting. Qualifications BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, MBA desirable 8
years of procurement, financial analysis, supply chain and/or government cost analysis and management experience. Must have specialized knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures; government cost accounting standards and accounting practices; contract administration principles, policies and procedures to support contracting methods; reporting requirements. Must have experience in Defense with price/cost analysis. Comprehensive knowledge of FAR/DFARs and CPSR requirements. Must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Auditing & Compliance, Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
