Summary:
The Licensed Athletic Trainer Pool provides comprehensive athletic health care in accordance with an evaluation and treatment protocol that is established by the athletic trainer and approved by the consulting physicianThe athletic training services include injury or illness prevention programs; evaluation, management, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries or illness sustained during physical activity; and giving emergency care or first aid for an injury or illness sustained while participating in physical activityThe Licensed Athletic Trainer Pool participates in other department activities designed to enhance patient/athlete care and programsOther duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Relevant outreach athletic trainer experience is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program or a related field is required.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
