Merchandise Specialist
Responsible for Buying Office activities which include style setup, purchase order creation and sample coordinationCollaborates with cross functional teams to ensure day-to-day office tasks are completedWorks with vendors and cross functional teams to make sure items are placed on site and displayed correctly.
ACCOUNTABILITIESPURCHASE ORDER CREATION AND MAINTENANCEWork with K-Link Team to identify attribute due dates to facilitate vendor attribution in K-Link and on-time EDI of ordersCreates, maintains and submits POs for processing (non KOO areas)Edits domestic and import POs prior to shipment of goodsSAMPLE MANAGEMENTManage Buying Office samples including tagging, organizing and purgingManages samples for advertising, market, vendor meetings etc.
Ensures samples are submitted to item production team to make sure items are live on siteLeverages Sample Tracker Tool and manages OHNO (On Hand Not on Site) report and communicate effectively with office to locate and activate missing items on the websiteCommunicate and Follow Up with Vendor and Product Development about missing samplesBUY PLAN MAINTENANCECommunicate with Vendors and Product Development about Buy plansWork with buying team to validate accuracy and completeness of buy plansCommunicate with Direct Ship Vendors about DSNsWork with buy team to submit buy plans to K-Link teamCROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATIONBuilds relationship with vendors and internal business partners to support buying teamsQUALIFICATIONSREQUIREDProblem solving (Identify where there is an issue and suggest solutions)Communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to lift up to 25lbsPREFERREDAbility to learn new technologies and train othersWillingness to take on project based roleChange agent, influence peers to adopt new process/technology Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Curiosity Maintenance Problem Solving Product Design Apply to this job.
