Eaton Corporation''s Controls and Power Conversion Division, (CPCD) has an opening for a Commercial Marketing Manager located in Menomonee Falls, WI.
The primary function of this position will be to lead and manage the CPCD marketing team to communicate and link with field sales, distributors, end customers, and internal customers to exceed annual objectives of Profit Plan Sales in excess of $500M and Market Share growth. Partner with more than ten Product Lines and Field Sales Managers to develop and implement MOEM and Project Construction / Industrial customer focused sales and distribution strategies. Provide direction and guidance to EG Pricing team to exceed annual Price Band Management targets. Provide customer and market input as well as actively participate in the annual Strategic Planning and Profit Planning process and co-develop and implement action plan and timetable in alignment with the Division's Strategic Objectives.
Essential Functions:
Serve as leader, coach, and adviser to all Commercial Marketing Team members with the objective of maximizing both team and individual performance.
Develop goals & objectives for Commercial Marketing Team in alignment with Division objectives.
Co-develop and deliver marketing communications tools that support product line and field sales strategies (e.g. sales note matrix, KVP's, Door Openers, advertising, special projects) within assigned budget.
Direct the efforts of the Segment Managers & Regional Marketing Managers to provide field sales with sales tools, audience appropriate messages, and coaching & practice to exceed sales and marketing objectives.
Identify & implement continuous quality improvement processes within the Commercial Marketing Team
Identify and recruit prospective marketing candidates for the Marketing Team
Own and manage process to listen, learn, and determine key customers requirements and their associated relative importance to the customer's purchasing decision, including:
Identifying and communicating emerging product, service, and marketing enhancements desired by customers, distributors, and field sales.
Provide direct customer, market, and distributor feedback required to assist in the development of division and product line strategies.
Co-own (with Field Sales) and manage process to build relationships to acquire & satisfy customers and increase repeat business & positive referrals, including:
Continuous two-way communications between product lines & field sales, channel customers, and the market including systematic review & improvement of existing and evolving methods to provide Instant Information .
Co-develop and coordinate field sales training programs as required. Coordinate with the EG Training Team Manager.
Identify, develop, and maintain key customer and distributor relations required to meet business objectives.
Identify, co-develop, and execute target market penetration strategies with the support of Channel Development and field sales personnel as required.
Direct the efforts of the Strategic Pricing Team/Manager and Product Lines to develop and implement strategic pricing processes and pricing strategies for maximum sales volume, share, and margin.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
Minimum of 3 years in the industrial controls industry in sales, product management, or operations.
Minimum 5 years experience in providing sales/ field support and performing customer/ industry presentations.
Position Criteria:
Must possess a solid understanding of relevant industrial market and technologies.
Ability and experience leading and managing multi-functional teams towards assigned goals.
Ability and experience organizing and implementing large programs within assigned budget and time deadline.
Ability and experience developing and maintaining relationships with key customer and sales management.
Ability and experience managing field sales resources.
Product line experience in developing strategy, profit and loss responsibility, competitive and market analysis.
Strong commercial skills to understand and market hi tech products (eg Operator Interface, Drives, Networks).
Familiarity and comfort with capabilities of Information Technology/Systems to enable delivery of Instant Information.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively at a variety of different organizational levels.
Extraordinary PC skills
