Living Hope is a U.S. non-profit organization headquartered in West Bend, Wisconsin supporting the financial and management needs of Esperanza Viva orphanage. Esperanza Viva is located in Puebla, Mexico, and has celebrated 20 years of serving over 500 at risk children over the years.

Living Hope is seeking an individual who will work well in a faith based, child oriented organization as the Director of Major Gifts & Development. This could be a part time or full time position. Compensation based upon experience.

This individual will need
A minimum of 5 years experience, preferably with Large Donor fund development.
Knowledge of social business enterprises/profit making activities in a non-profit environment.
To be actively involved in the local and selected philanthropic communities in the United States.
To balance a mix of donor sources (i.e.) large donor, corporate, church leaders and private foundations.
Have proven results in managing a comprehensive development plan and securing gifts.
To be able to work closely with the Board of Directors and the staff in Mexico.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
