Maxim Healthcare has a new Dental Review Specialist opportunity in the Menomonee Falls, WI area! Review records to ensure services provided are within plan guidelines, pre authorizations are received, and contacting provider office as needed.

Responsibilities include:
o Prepares patient, sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures.
o Takes and records medical and dental histories.
o Exposes dental diagnostic x-rays.
o Makes preliminary impressions for study casts and registrations for mounting study casts.
o Assists dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies.
o Instructs patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
o Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.
o Records treatment information in patient records.
o Schedules appointments, prepare bills, and receives payment for dental services, completes insurance forms, and maintains clerical records, manually or using the computer.
o Other duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
o High School diploma or its equivalent.
o Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
o Current License/Certificate within state of practice
o Successful completion of screening tests for the clinical specialty area(s) in which the Dental Assistant with a score of 80% or greater.
o Current PPD or Chest X-Ray per Maxim Policy
o Current BLS card per Maxim Policy
o Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
o Must meet all of Maxim's pre-employment screening requirements
